After completing a sports science degree in Brighton and had 8 masters modules in the same discipline at John Moores University he then went on to study at Manchester University.

After 8 years of study he spent 10 years as a physio at the NHS, Richard has completed numerous postgraduate courses to enhance his professional skills, Richard also has learned the newest latest techniques, he uses the best evidence-based treatments for the best outcome for the patients he sees at the clinic. Richard was a senior Physiotherapist in the NHS, Richard managed all manner of musculoskeletal conditions, he now sees many complex biomechanical disorders. Richard has worked around the country with many football teams both professional and amateur, he has been involved in the treatment management of high profile professional athletes including current premier league footballers.

Richard believes working in a multidisciplinary approach and works closely with specialist Podiatrist Jonathan Stanley to get the best possible care and symptom relief. Believing in using a combination of Physiotherapy, chiropractic-based and podiatric techniques to enable a more rapid recovery possible for his patients, using the most up to date and advanced manual therapy techniques alongside individualised rehabilitation programmes. Another treatment regime may also include dry needling techniques, the westernised approach to acupuncture which has remarkable effects for muscle tightness and myofacial and nerve related pain.
